Better Late Than Never

After 5 months, I am officially opening my online store again to the public.  This past summer has been such a whirlwind of moving, packing, stress, instability, newness, confusion, discovery, patience and subtle rewards.  I used to have everything at my finger tips at my studio back home.  Now, I ride my bike everywhere and have to rely on google translate for most things I need.  Nonetheless, I am still making and that is the whole point, I realize.  Thanks for watching and waiting.

Flea Market Sundays...

Lately, it's been just nice enough to go to the flea markets up in Adamstown on Sundays.  There's so much to look at, I sometimes forget the more interesting items to photograph.  This past Sunday there were two extraordinary stands - one with a Scottish Eel basket and miscellaneous marine artifacts, and another owned by a textile trader who was selling everything from vintage steel canisters from Japan to Native American beaded moccasins...I got away with three pieces of pottery for $35, score!
