in the drawing zone

Sometimes, I find myself being forced to draw for work. I get frustrated feeling like a machine, but then afterward, I'm always sort of relieved as if I really needed that part of my day to focus on something I've always enjoyed, but somehow manage to forget every once in a while. Today, I had to draw shirt options for SNAG (Society of North American Goldsmithing) and Robin, my amazing coworker, had found an antique chart of guilding tools off the web. For whatever reason, I opted to eyeball it point blank and got into this strange working zone...this felt good. I should really do this more often.
